I am one of those folks that really loves to have something to look forward to in the future, especially at the end of the month when I have to close out all my work for the month.

So I get very excited with upcoming vacations, do you have any upcoming vacations??

I am going to Vegas in Nov 12-16th, sin city baby!!

and then Disney for the marathon in january

the thoughts of both trips are getting me through the day!!

Where you going??

I was supposed to go there last Jan. Sad

I have nothing planned for the rest of this year...all our real vacations are already gone. We will probably take a trip or two...or not...depending on what house we end up purchasing! Smile

Nothing planned. A lot I would like to do, but I probably won't have the funds or time to do it. Fall break is next Thursday and Friday, but I won't have the money to go anywhere farther than a few hours away.

No more plans for me either.....other than the long weekend in Chicago with the Riff Raffers. I did mostly long weekends this year, which are fun too.
I'm with you though, it really does help you get through the work week, knowing one is coming!

Next year's tentative plan is back to Ireland/London and maybe a day or two in Scotland if I can swing it.

I did ok this year though:

Two 5-day trips to Florida to see Kristin
A weekend in Louisville
Two long weekends in Da Burgh to visit my big sis RR

Good times, all! dance

Not a real vacation, but going on a long weekend trip to Dallas for the White Rock Half marathon in December.

Probably Myrtle Beach in February. And Oklahoma City the last week in April to visit family (and as a sidebar run the OKC Marathon).

.

At the end of October I am going to Sweden for work related stuff for a few days. I was able to postpone by flight for a couple of days, so it turns out I will have 3 full days to spend touristing and exploring! (Kudos to cool bosses.)

I can hardly wait! Dancing Banana

Just finishing a week in Maine with my 85 year old mom - not a vacation !!

I'll be going to Boston next Monday-Tuesday to see daughter enrolled in an honor society. Wife and I get to stay overnight in Boston area.

We already have had our vacation - three days in Quebec City Canada for the Half Marathon and three days in Boston to move daughter back to college. what a vacation !!
