Got here late Friday. Met up with family, then off for sundae #1 (chocolate chocolate chip with hot fudge & whipped cream).
Saturday: up early for 5M in heat & high humidity. Then 35 minutes spent setting up camp on the beach, spent 10 minutes enjoying it, then ran home because of thunderstorm. Woman 2 beaches over struck by lightning  so we were lucky. Then dinner with family & lifelong friends, then sundae #2.
Sunday: fabulous 10M run along the bay, then up & across the bridge spanning some fine Atlantic Ocean. Got to top of bridge - THUNDER! LIGHTNING! Decided not a safe place to be, so turned around to run 5M home. Dad found me and instead of accepting a ride home, took his hat and kept running. Ran through water puddles up to 5" deep - FUB! Then lunch. Then dinner. Now heading off for sundae #3.
Tomorrow: supposedly no rain, so sun & fun at the Jersey Shore!

Mmmm....iiiiice cream!!!!!
Sounds like fun, despite the weather. The shore rocks no matter what time of year!!! It's gorgeous up here today, 80's and low humidity......hope it's the same there.
