If you want more of this, with serious yet funny commentary, I recommend The Worst Rock'n'Roll Records of All Time, by O'Donnell and Gutterman. My edition is from the late 80's - and they desparately need to do updates. Only because you think the music then could not have gotten any worse.

It not only gives the worst 50 singles of all time (and it is confined to the rock era - Beatles and continuing - and only one novelty song in the lot!), but the worst 50 albums, as well as special features like siblings who should never have tried to cash in on their famous family members, worst covers (songs, not album artwork), actors who tried (but not very hard) to make records, and many more.

To be fair, I believe Mr. O'Donnell also did this with the 50 best in a separate book.

They're in the book I mentioned - 2525 came in at #3, I believe.

I assume you mean the Guess Who original of AW, and not Lenny's remake.

Another reason they need a book update - only one song on the VH1 list is in it... "We Didn't Start The Fire."
