For those of you who knew JC, even in passing, from Kick and CR, please take a moment to stop in and add your prayers to everyone else's. He is one of the sweetest people you could ever meet and I know this loss must be devastating. Sylvia fought a long hard battle and was a very inspiring person, even though I'd never met her, and you could tell from the way he talked about her that they were still very much in love.

I saw that over there this morning. She sounded like one hell of a person.

That sucks.

I just posted over there, first time since Miles was born, I believe.

JC is a good man, I'm sure she was a great person.

JJ, can you sticky this for a day or two, just so everyone who doesn't make it over there often sees it? I know some of us, myself included, have had the privilege of meeting JC at past Kick events. I remember bawling my eyes out watching him cross the finish line at his first marathon in Philly in 2001......he is a wonderful person and apparently so was she. He talked about her a lot and I know the two of them were a real support and inspiration to Icedog when Moe was ill as well.

My heart is breaking too. Bad things so often happen to good people. cry

He is an amazing guy. One of the few "over there" who always made me feel welcome, no matter what. He is definitely a class act.

It sucks when bad stuff happens to really good people.

This is terribly sad, and I don't even know who these people are...but he has been blessed by the love he has for her and was given. That much is evident.
