Couldn't you save the company a little scratch with your own supply of 'natural gas'?

They won't let me play with matches so I can't turn my own supply into actual heat....

Yep. 36,162 mcf (38,771 dekatherms) of gas used. We're heating some huge buildings with little or no insulation.

Somebody explain this to me. Every night, while watching the news, the local station runs the same PSA and has for years. Beautiful landscapes with an eagle soaring and a narrator talking about how wonderful natural gas is and then saying "virtually all natural gas used in North America, comes from North America." Wellll, if that's the case, why the heck does anything that happens with overseas oil cause the price of natural gas to go up?!

Let me play consultant here for just a minute...
Let's say you buy each of your 500 employess a sweater ($30) and a pair of mittens ($5) to keep warm. 500 x $35 = $75,000 Think of the cost savings you could realize by turning down the thermostat!

Hey you! Don't laugh too hard.... some day some how I'm gonna run a race in Pa. and you're gonna be there with your kids and I'm gonna show THEM how to light a fart off! And they will think I'm a hero and be mad at you for not showing them how to do personal fireworks!

A sweater/sweatshirt is already recommended if you spend any time out in the shops. Offices are comfortable to me, nearly everyone else wears a sweater or at least long sleeves and many gripe about being cold.
