I've skated this one twice now. I think it's rather done well. but then again i've done well both times so might be biased. Publix puts out a huge spread at the end of the race and you get free admission into the water park too. This is a race to do if you don't mind mountain ascents. (ok exaggeration but there are steep climbs)
count me in.

from what ive seen, this is probably one of the best run races. but ive only been on the other side. from 96 to 00 i worked at the water park each labor day and i think the only year there were any problems was the year it rained and a lot of the participants wanted rainchecks on thier admission to the park.
and yes, 41 is very mountainous.

I think this race is just one of those not meant for me. I have always been out of town running somewhere else. This year I'll be in Colorado Springs. Some year, I'll get my schedule correct so I can run this one.

I'm running the ADT Marathon in Colorado Springs on Labor Day. I'll be there from Friday thru Monday.
