2 miles, but no pain with shin splints. It's so nice...and i struggled but went faster than i expected

I ran 5.5 at lunch.
Skated with the group after work. They actually got me on some 5 wheels. Hyper would be so proud!

Late post here...
1 hr of strength training in the morning
Coached swim practice in the afternoon (1250 m total)
Evening: A scenic 6.8 mile easy group run by the ocean with a local running club (Pacific Road Runners)- started with a 2.3 mile warmup jog with everybody (19:09) and a 4.5 mile easy run (34:11) with the 7:00-8:00 pace group.
