Renewed our gym membership after summer hiatus.
Mile on the dreadmill, a few more miles on the stationary bike. My kidneys or lower back area hurt when I ran! I didn't notice any whiffleball bats.
Swimming tomorrow...¡w00t!

Did a 4 mile track tempo run as part of a 13 mile day. All this training is really paying off as I ran the 4 mile section nearly a minute faster than I raced this distance at the beginning of the year. I worked the last mile pretty hard, but still not near race effort.
Mile 1 - 5:50
Mile 2 - 5:43
Mile 3 - 5:34
Mile 4 - 5:16
I'm thinking I might be ready to race again soon.

A good simple run - badly needed after Sunday. Schedule called for no hills or speed work today, just six miles. Results -
Running, 6.438 miles in :54:10.00.
Cycling, 3.521 miles in :20:19.00.
As LC works Wednesday and Thursday nights, I can put some time in on weights, rowing and cycling.

10 minutes on the trainer before the power went out. Another 2 minutes or so of riding in complete darkness waiting for the power to come back on (which it never did).
5.45 mile run at lunch. Easy, but wet.
1 hr. on the trainer at home. Pedal drills and muscle tension intervals
