Trouble today

Well I went to go on my two mile run today and I just couldn't. No one was holding a gun to me or anything I just physically coudln't make it. I ran 2 miles on wed. and mon. and 1 mile on tues. I could only make it half a mile today and I was just out of breath. It sucked really bad. As far as I can tell I'm just having a bad running day. I ran some 100m's in good time. About 17 seconds each. Just not enough gusto to go for a distance run today. Anyone else run into this?

I've had a few days like that. I find it's best to just bag the run and take it as a day off.

Thanks. I just decided to work on speed instead of distance. I feel guilty for lowing my MPW though. Sad
