Posted: 12/12/05 - 11:16 Post subject: Treadmill Help
My DH found an awesome deal on a Landice L7 Sports trainer treadmill ($450, 5 yrs old). I'm not a big DREADmill fan but with the new family and the DH's new job this might be the best thing for me to do right now. So, I'm coming to my riff raff friends to get some input on the quality of this particular treadmill.

Lancide is the Rolls Royce of treadmills. | Never seen one - the gyms I've been in don't have 'em.

Tell JACKED that she needs to upgrade from those PROFORM treadmills they currently have.

I thought she just tied rope around their waists and hooked them to the wall and made them run. She lets them run outside???!!!

have it. The stripped down 2000 version (no programs). Never needed service, never a problem. Don't let the age scare you, the motors on Landice do not quit. I only upgraded because I need more options past 10mph....going from 10 to 11 was a little much for this nonKenyan.
Ran on my 2000 yesterday, it was a nice view overlooking the river rather than my usual dungeon.

Put a poster of an outdoor trail scene on the wall in front of the "mill"....or put the TV in front of it...
Howbout we all come up with a cable channel that shows the runners view going down a bunch of different trails and routs around cities...even some half and full marathons It could be a channel for those who run on "mills".... Put the TV in front of the mill...tune in, and go for a nice trail run around some exotic island...
