i have a precor that i've used alot since 97 and i only recently cracked the thing that covers the motor on a forward stride. 
the treadmill is the only way on God's green earth that i have been able to run consistently over the last 5 years. if i didn't have the treadmill, and i couldn't go upstairs to use it whenever i want, i'd have to kissazz and suckbutt and get acts of congress passed and then a dispensation from the pope himself before i leave the frickin' house to go "run".
a stay at home mom has the hardest time in the world getting OUT to do something as trivial and self-indulgent as run. get the damn treadmill, i'm sayin'.
my next treadmill will be a Landice.

amen, sister. I didn't get a treadmill 'til kiddos were 6 and 4.....I don't know how I managed before that. Well, I "do", and it meant running in the dark alot.
