Well after reading everyone's awesome race reports, I'll stay up alittle longer to post my report.

First off I had a GREAT GREAT weekend it was really nice to meet and hang with everyone for the weekend!! Everyone had a great day running too!!! Cjay totally awesome!!! Shelly way to go, you did great!!!! Shelfie and Mega good job you guys are both on the right road!! Rando you are a trooper, though well have to have a talk about what is a hill and what is not!!! EL thanks for carrying me along!!! JrJo super run and a super nice family too!! Genie thanks for the pre-race pep talk, took away the edge thumbs up

On to the race; My goal was to hit 1:50 andI finished 1:51.38 (chip time 1:51.36) I was very happy, for me this was a very hilly course, here in S.E. Michigan the biggest hills I get is pulling in my driveway Mr. Green
Rando Evil or Very Mad Just kidding.

I started off running with EL and Rando, (started right in front of the state capitol, totally cool) took abit but settled into a nice pace, I was feeling really good and loose this morning. EL pulled ahead but I wanted to keep him in site to keep me plugging along, the course here is absolutely beautiful, through the University of Wisconsin, on bike paths, along lakefronts.

I hit the 7 mile mark in under an hour and despite the hills I started to think PR, though the next 6.1 I didnt pick it up quiet enough and missed it by 30 seconds, but I didnt mind it was a great run.

I was happy how close I kept my splits: 1) 8:42 2) 8:35 3) 9:11 (big hill) 4) 7:59 (downhill) 5) 8:25 6) 8:33 7) 8:30 8. 8:34 9) 8:34 10) 8:33 11) 8:37 12) 8:28 13+.1) 8:51

Good racin! Lord knows if there were a few less than 219 turns out on that course, you certainly would have nailed a 1:50. No doubt it'll come next time. It was a big pleasure meeting you!
