not sure if any of you know what Geo-cacheing is so i'll give a 101 on it.
Geo-cacheing is hiding a trreasure for someone to find using GPS. it has become somewhat of a world wide game. you leave something in each cache and you can take something from the cache, there is a log book for each cache and a means to watch online what happens to each cache.
not that i am an avid cacher but i like to now and then, so one cache had a little plastic cat, so i took the cat knowing that soon that Shadow would live thru this.
my plan is to get a specific tracking number (on a dog tag) i just purchased online. and put Shadow out in the World. I'll start the cache where i released her in the stream and be able to track her spirit around the state, country maybe even globe.
ok maybe a little corny but i wuvved my wittle putty tat. pass a tissue please.

I think that's a cool idea!
We used to ride our tandem with a family group on Sunday mornings. One of the couples always rode with their two daughters, and part of the entertainment for the daughters on the long ride, was Geo-cacheing. The kidlets loved looking for the cache - taking the "prize" and leaving a prize.

I agree, that sounds neat.
I always log my dollar bills at wheresgeorge.com... kinda neat to see where it's been.

I have never tried the geo-caching thing but I am an avid Georger. Well I was up until last month. Not much time to enter the bills.

I do this with books at a website called bookcrossings.com. The deal is to leave a book in a public place with a tracking number on it. Then whoever picks it up logs it, reads it, and leaves it somewhere else.
