Storms are scary stuff...
I hope the skies are clear in 3 weeks.

We're about 20 miles south of the Wisconsin border. Last night they showed the radar of these things - you could cut the border with a knife. To the north, all heck breaking loose. To the south, nothing.

There's no place like home. | I've been accused of parking that way. On occasion.

not to make light of the situation but I thought the following from the story was quite amusing...and quite typical of wisconsinites...
| Quote: | As the storm approached, golfers had started coming off the course, and about 40 people huddled in the club’s basement and waited, said the club’s executive chef, Lenny Peaslee.
The storm peeled the roof back like the lid of a box, he said.
“We heard the rumble, rumble, then crash, boom, bang,” Peaslee said. “Insulation as far you can see. It nailed us ... the course is pretty much a mess. There’s trees down everywhere you look.”
“We were ... hiding behind the bar,” he added. “We had beer, anyway.”

I though that was great!!! (being a former Wisconsonite).
I'm still worried that my grandmother did not mention it! She is getting more and more "out there" every time I speak with her...
