Naima? Really?
Here's the way I saw it from listening to the judges.
Kahlen did consistently A work all season long with the occasional B photo shoot. Her final test was probably a B+ or an A- since she was praised highly.
Naima did B work all season, but her final test was a solid A.
Which student do you want?

The one reality show I had any interest in seeing (albeit not much), and I missed the whole season...
(are there re-runs or something?)

exactly.
I have come to like Kahlen SO. MUCH. and Naima started strong in my mind but fizzled early, never really progressed (except, she did nail that cat walk). I'm really sad for Kahlen, I hope she gets a contract elsewhere. She seems like what most producers would want. MOST models I would venture to guess aren't great spokesmodels. Who cares. I mean, Naima is pretty but...
meh 
Although, looking at past performance, previous winners haven't really gone on to do much, so maybe this doesn't mean anything. Maybe it was a good thing for Kahlen?

We'll be seeing Naima on the Surreal Life where she'll fall for a Brady. 
But unless you are a top name swimsuit model or something, I tend not to have any idea what any of them are doing. But I hope Yoanna is still working.

I read a lot of magazines...and I'm a dork like this and notice who is in what ad...  And they may have to sign an exclusive contract with cover girl where they can't do anything else for that year? I don't know.
I do think Yoanna is still working. I can't remember what I saw that made me think that.

The only one really doing anything is Eva from last season. I agree that Kahlen was much better in photos, but she didn't really cut it on the runway. Her walk was not so great and she was so tense that her jaw was all clenched up. I was suprised though when they picked Niema...but happy because I liked her.
So far, I haven't seen much from any of the models except for Eva with her Cover Girl contract and Mercedes...she did some stuff for Target.

 All true. I like Naima ok, she just doesn't do it for me in the photos as much. I think all or almost all of Kahlen's were great. And the contest wasn't America's Next Top Spokesmodel. Acting isn't her thing and I think they put too much emphasis on that last task. Oh well, I would hope she'd get signed up with an agency and do lots of work after this (hopefully for her).

I watched one episode of it (last season?) at my inlaws when the girl from Vegas with the messed up family life won it. I was happy for her; I thought Shannon (what a waste of a name) was a bish in nice girl clothing.
