If the station does float away. The creek outside is past flood stage.

You are aware of this I'm sure but I didn't realize that it was really like this and not just my dorky parents until I moved here: people here really think Texas will secede someday. Many don't understand why we're a part of the US anyway. You should start one of my coworkers on the subject. I just got into a conversation with some coworkers last week about what will happen to me, a non-native, when (their words) it happens. Fortunately (?), they decided I would stay because both my parents are native, therefore I'm native.

Texas, it's like a whole 'nother country. Adios! I won't miss the state.

I've never been. Would at least like to visit. There's a lot of history in that state.

I thought it was a bunch of wackos also, but when you look beyond the village idiots and read some history, you gotta admit that there is some truth to the crazies.
Eh, Mexico is slowing taking it back anyway.

I'm impressed someone from Louisianna knows it's a State. You must be one of the 3 from that fine swamp that got through 6th grade.
Missed the show. I was afraid it may burst some truths that Texans hold dear. It would take away some of the state's charm.
And Cheryl, just curious, what will happen to us non-natives?

Sorry to have missed that one - really - as big a state and history as Texas has got, they couldn't've done it all in one night, could they?
I settled for the local PBS (!) documentary on the 25th anniversary of Disco Demolition instead.

So if Texas secedes, when I watch Dallas reruns, will that count as watching a foreign documentary?

I spent my time watching some wrestling and then three hours of track...and i'm recording every episode of I Love the 90's to watch at my leisure (because VH1 won't air reruns every day for the next four months and i might miss it)
