I can't believe it's already been a year.
Thanks for making this little place so great, Purple. This is by far my favoritest website.

Wow, a year already?? Time sure flies when you're slacking.....errr..I mean having fub!!
Thanks, John, for creating us our own little utopian playground upon which to exercise our creative genius, have some laughs, share our truimphs and our tribulations, and most of all, make some hella-cool new friends and cement the bonds with old friends that were made years ago, in a galaxy far, far away.....
And thanks to all of you for maintaining the spirit of that has been the cornerstone of RRHO from day one....without everyone here, this community would not be what it is today.
And thanks to Al Gore for inventing the interwebby so we Picassos had a canvas on which to draw.....

Here is the email message that started it all:
| purple hayes wrote: | Dear Greg Oaster:
Hi, it's purple hayes from the Kick!/Cool Running off-site profile site. Since you registered there, you are getting this quick little note from me.
As you know, the Kick!/Cool Running site(s) forums are currently unavailable and if you're like me, you can only go a few minutes without checking out the latest threads. I only made it about ten minutes myself before it set up my own little site for running talk and idle chit-chat.
You can see it here: http://www.interwovendesign.com/forum/
This is NOT the new Cool Running site forums. It is completely different and separate from them although you will see a lot of the familiar faces there. The forums are pretty nice, too. No more fooling with UBB code because it acts a lot more like MS Word now.
If there is anyone you would like to invite to be apart of the fun, just forward them this e-mail because if you didn't register at the profile site, you won't get this e-mail.
ENJOY!
Happy Running,
John (purple hayes) |

Who's moderating Joel? I'd like to file a grievance with him once we find out.
Better yet, I'd like to apply for the position if it's available....
