Ha! Today in class we covered communication techniques with your patients and their families. One of the points hit was that often active listening requires silence and just listening. almost on cue, the most obnoxious girl in class pipes up without being called on, interrupting the lecture with yet another personal anecdote/brown-nose type story. The girl next to me: "I don't think she got the point"  oh I love that I'm not the only catty beeyatch in nursing school...
