Thanks, everyone.
Palmer's quote before bedtime tonight: "Dad, I'm pretty sure I like not taking chemotherapy anymore."

Gman, I didn't know about Palmer, but reading your post has brought tears to my eyes. I'm just so happy for you - there is nothing quite like hearing those words "no sign of cancer" - it really is an incredible feeling isn't it . After the roller coaster ride that goes with chemo, it almost seems kind of surreal, and sometimes kind of strange.
I like to think of no signs of cancer as meaning cured, rather than remission. I'm blowed if I'm waiting 5 years (4 now in our case) to breathe again . We still get a little nervous round scan and checkup time, or anything remotely resembling a symptom, but it does seem to be getting easier with the passing of time. Also, I always thought it would be a shame that if I was to have him for only a limited time, that I'd wasted some of that precious time worrying it away.
Enjoy and celebrate, and welcome to the RR cancer beaters club .

BIG FAT
That is so great to hear. Obviously I can't say buy that man a beer but maybe you can buy him tickets to a movie or an athletic event that he wants to attend!

I thought that was the tornado warning sirens.
Overjoyed to know that the G-Man family is doing so well!
