Besides whatever team you may be supporting, today you must cheer for:
TCU!! The 8-1 Horned Frogs, sitting comfortably atop the C-USA, play E. Carolina (3-6 and on their way to 3-7). In order to keep earning respect for higher placement in the polls and a better bowl game the Frogs need to win this one. Alanintx care ALOT about this game.
Purdue. The 5-6 Boilermakers need to bring home the old oaken bucket and need only one more win to earn a bowl bid. This game is the season for Floridaboiler, so let's get on his bandwagon.
Penn State. The boys of Happy Valley are 8-3 and bowl bound. They just need to beat the Spartans because it feels like the right thing to do and it would make Genie happy.
Wisconson. The 6-6 Badgers face the 7-4 Golden Gophers. Badgers need the win. They need it pretty badly at this point, and I would think many of the Mafia would be happy if they can pull it off.
Who did I miss? Who else are we pulling for? Kentucky is idle, Iowa's winning regular season is over and they are #4 in the country (why CB and Megawill don't bring this up time and time again is a mystery to me).

It sure is - and we've got some big games this weekend!
1) "The Big Game", between Cal and Stanford. 20 year anniversary of "The Play" this year too. The Bay Area is probably going crazy!
2) UCLA vs. USC, crosstown rivalry.
And yes, AlaninTX, I know it's hard to believe, but they not only let us into college, we tricked our respective schools into giving us degrees!

Yes!!!! The BADGERS DID IT!
(Let's not forget the OSU/Michigan rivalry. I am not going out tonight until at least nidnite; all the idiots should be passed out by then...I have never in my life seen a city take a friggin college football game so seriously, and then act like total assclowns afterwards, regardless of outcome. There were idiots tryying to rip down the goalposts even though they were reinforced)

Didn't want to rub it in....but it has been a great year to be an Iowa fan...they have been a very fun team to watch...and have gotten better each succeeding week throughout the season...Also, they have a legitimate Heisman candidate at QB. T
Don't want to offend any Buckeye faithful but I was really hoping that they would lose today. Not necessarily for Iowa's betterment but because I don't think that they are that good and I'm afraid that they won't represent the the Big 10 well in the National Championship game.
I'm convinced that if Iowa and Ohio State played next week that Iowa would win by at least 2 TDs...
can't wait for Jan 1st...

I for one am damn surprised that they won. They ALWAYS lose to Michigan, regardless of the results the rest of the season. I just lost $10.00......h

Purdue Won!
Did I hear correctly that TCU lost?
PSU Won
Wisconsin
I saw that Riot at OSU and it is to bad that happened. I figured they would choke against Michigan again. Oh Well. It looks like Iowa should go to the Rose Bowl though!

Cal:
Looks like about half the Riff Raffers got their picks.
