Posted: 06/09/04 - 16:40 Post subject: Today I learned something about my Wife..
And it was kind of a big thing too.
She's never been to a zoo!
A couple of things came to mind when she told me this:
A: How could I have known her for this long (9+ years since we met), and not known she'd never been to a zoo?
B: WHO HASN'T EVER BEEN TO A ZOO!?
For those of you with SO's, what was the last major piece of information that you learned about your spouse?
For those of you without SOs, please tell me you've at least been to a zoo.

I had a boyfriend who had never been to a wedding. And considering its practically my favorite hobby I found this odd. Even odder was him trying to plan our wedding during the whole thing, as though he really liked this new discovery and he was ready to run with it "ooh, we should do that" we who? I'm not marrying you!!!

I swear I just found something like that out about my hubby, but I can't remember what it was.
But honestly, how has someone never been to a zoo????? That's just crazy talk!!!!!! The zoo rocks! That reminds me we need to go get a family pass for the year!!!!

I hadn't been to a zoo until I was in college. Well, there is one picture of me at one when I was a toddler but I don't remember that one.
Am I the only one that isn't enthralled by zoos? They're okay though.

Me too! I can remember my side of the conversation; "Really? You haven't? How odd!"
I just can't remember what the odd thing was.
As for the zoo...did she grow up in a town without one? Otherwise, my response is .

I could take em or leave em until we got the Gorilla exhibit... and the butterfly room... and the orangutans...

I am a zoo freak.....that's one thing I have to do when I am in a new town for the first time. Some are WAY better than others. Philly, as much as I dislike the city, has a GREAT zoo. I like Lincoln Park too.

After 27 years of marriage I can't think of anything my wife would be able to surprise me with.
