Dear RR:

I wanted to take this opportunity to publically thank all of you for all the support you've given me over the past months. Whether it be running related or not, I've come to this place to get away from my chaotic life at times. Many of you know that I've been going through a tremendous amount of personal problems that had been taking place before I ever logged on to this site. I have always kept my problems private and out of public viewing. However, I cannot tell you how nice it's been to seek refuge from my problems and come here when I've felt very low.

I've chosen to sign on under a different screen name today just to keep things simple in my personal life here. I have always protected it and have not exploited my family, family problems, etc. at the forum. I want to keep it this way and remain NAMELESS for this one and only thread I'll start under this name. Please respect that...keep me Nameless.

I have gone through many changes over the past months. First, I aquired my teacher's certification here in AZ so I could teach here and seek employment. Next, I revamped my resume to go on and apply for teacing positions here at the end of the summer to find that I had a job within five days. I wound up getting the "dream job" here and it was a wonderful thing for me. It's given me great confidence to go out in life and find ways to be fulfilled again. Once I got my job, I went through the process of filing for divorce. I did so this past fall and was divorced at the first of the year. Upon doing that, I've found a new place to live and will be making the official move out of my house this weekend.

That's why I'm going public now this one and only time. I felt that I could let everyone know this and then move on with it. I will be stepping out on my own for the very first time in 14 years. I have found a nice place to live and raise my children. I'm going to be splitting my time with my kids and their father...to make things work as best as they can for them. I think I'm ready and can do it. It's been extremely exhausting and I don't know how I've done it? The only thing I can say is that no matter how difficult it has been, I've survived. Not only that, I still have a lot to be grateful and thankful for each every single day.

I'll still have times of being insecure I'm sure, but I'm going to take it as it comes. I will work hard to build a good life for me and the children so we're all happy.

That's it. I just wanted to get this out there before I leave for the day. I'll be in and out for the next weeks. I will not have a computer in my new place.

I hope you all take care and know that I appreciate all the support you've given me.

Thanks. Gotta go. Recess is over.

Hey! I'm off this weekend. (Yeah...yuk, yuk) You need some help with the move? My back's only a little sore from shoveling snow. It's my guess that some people who've experienced it, won't be missing it. Nonetheless, the offer stands.

I dunno who you are, but I might be coming to AZ in a few weeks, and I would love to meet up with you. Wink Wink It is not definite, but very likely sorta kinda possible. Anyway, hugs to you, you brave and strong woman!

Thanks, Rob.

He writes to hang in. And then I think, yeah, hang tough. And then I think that this person, this NooKid, should heed the advice. And then I think, Nookid and hangin' tough.

Now? I can't get that damned melody out of my head!

Thanks, Rob.

(editted to say: there aren't enough beers in the refrigerator to help erase it...Rob, you owe me.)
