Hi Guys,
Bit of a prob. I have been exactly following a half marathon trianing program over the past few months which i have been having great success with, so good in fact that i feel that i could run a 36/ 37 minute 10k (1or 2 minutes faster than my PB!) judgeing from my form from last fridays session. Very Happy

Since then however i have ran the longest distance on my traiming plan- 13 miles at a comfortable 8:10 minute mile pace. The next day howver while doing my recovery run my legs felt sooo heavy and tired, no pain just tired, Sad in which i struggled to complete the 4 miles at 8:45/ 9:00 minute mile pace as i had to cut it short at just over 3 miles.
Yesterday i completed 6 miles with my club and struggled and finshied the route 5 mintes slower than usual. Embarassed

There is a 10k on this sunday in which i would realy like to get a PB on. i plan to rest untill then abandoning the training plan but today my legs dont feel like they will be ready for then, can hardly move.
is it possible?? is their anything i can do to speed up the recovery?

Any comments would be much appreciated!!
Mr. Green
Regards, CaddyMan
