There are three upcoming concerts that I would love to see here in the burgh.

1. Michael Franti & Spearhead opening for Ziggy Marley
2. Keb'Mo'
3. Damian Rice

I'm also sorry that I missed Kathleen Edwards last fall. I used to go to a gazillion concerts through my mid-20's. I especially love the small venue shows. I miss having a very flexible schedule and having plenty of disposible income.

I've felt burdened by responsibility lately. <sigh> /vent

First two sound promising, especially Keb'Mo'. But not Damian Rice - "Volcano" is like hearing fingernails on chalk.

He's got some other song that's getting some airplay that's not too bad.

c'mon... You never heard of Ziggy Marley? Bob Marley's son? Similar style music. He was even on Sesame Street when my kids were little. He also does the theme song for the kids' show Arthur (the animated aardvark) on PBS.

Keb'Mo... I'm pretty sure he did some of the music for the recent blues series on PBS. I didn't watch it though so I don't know for sure.

I agree gdawg, I don't like Volcano but my station plays a bunch of stuff (none of which I know the name). I'd still like to see him live. Singer-songwriter shows rock.
