Is it a full moon or a mercury retrograde?
I haven't slept all week worrying about settlement on the house, which is Monday at noon, so I call the loan processor today to make sure they have everything they need for closing. Lo and behold, she faxes me this LIST of crap I still have to get them before she can finalize the paperwork!!!!!!!! Ummm...hellllooooo...this stuff needs to be in at like noon tomorrow, when the F were you going to call me????
So now I'm spending the afternoon making phone calls, running to my parents house for copies of checks, despite my asking the person who took the application REPEATEDLY, "is this it? do I need to do anything else?" after filling in HER list of ridiculously lame things she needed, which ended up with the loan processor anyway.
THEN I remember I haven't converted my renter's insurance policy to a homeowners one and I need proof of that for Monday....thank God I can get in to see her tomorrow morning (necessitating me being late for work to do so) and I just KNOW there's going to be more.
AUUUUUGHHH!!!! Buyer beware indeed........

My re-fi last year was suppose to be 2-3 weeks... ended up being 6. I guess there's a reason it's the hot career right now. Any old Furley can find a job closing mortgages.

your week was great when you didn't go to the hospital on Monday!
I have been having a strange week too. Good things happen, bad things happen, and strange things happen. I am watching my 5yo right now, and less than an hour ago he absolutely flipped on me! I've got some things I need to do, but not sure how to take care of them (re: moving out and having things that I need) and although the kids at school seem pretty good, there are a few individual students doing some wierd things when they come to my class. one of the 4th graders kept putting his hand in his pants
