Our house is full of fresh flowers, from a +$50M wedding this weekend. The bride left all of the centerpieces behind. There are roses, peonies, irisis, orchids, and pirds of paradise. They all include candles, and in some instances shells. Very odd. I think that if I had blown that much on flowers, I would give them to friends or family. Considering that she was a local, as were most of the guests, it seems strange. The house looks like a funeral parlor or something.

Anyone want some flowers?

No. I apologize. I used to work for a bank, and the Roman numeral "M" represents one thousand dollars in banking accounting phrasology. It was a $50 thousand dollar wedding. It's a commonly used banking term, and I am sorry for the confusion. Old habits.

Still a lot to spend on a wedding. Ours was less than 7. With an open bar.

Shocked

My first wedding cost $1500 (total, including my dress) and my second cost less then $300 (including honeymoon suite).

Is there a hospital on the island that would appreciate the flowers or a nursing home?

I'm not a gamblin' man (and my NFL predictions prove it), but I'd bet the back forty that there's a mobile home park within a quarter mile of that place (if not next door).

Cute. So I can't spell... Wink

Actually, I love birds of paradise. Those, mixed with red ginger, make my favorite bouquet, aside from orchids. Anyway, the house looks nice. There are even flowers in the bathroom.
