So these two Monroe County sheriff deputies walk in to the restauarant today; ask me if I'm Matthew PLatt (do I look like a Matthew?, long hair, boobs, makeup don't usually match a Matthew!  ) and after we've ascertained that there is, indeed, no Matthew Platt who is employed by the business, they proceed to pull some guy off of a boat down at the marina attached to the restaurant. I'm not sure what he did, but they yanked him away and a bunch of customers saw it.
Customer 1: "What's that?"
Me "I have NO idea"
Customer 2" What did he do?"
Me " I have no idea."
Customer 3" Is this a drug bust?"
Me: " Look, I don't know, why don't you go ask the police?"
Lather, rinse, repeat.
This place is wierd.
I'm not sure I WANT to know what criminal violation was committed. The less you know, the less involved you are in the local gossip.
