It's funny in a way, but it's very disturbing in others. I don't want the police to kick my @ss, I'm not breaking the law (plus, it's not their job to dole out the punishment).

As funny as it may seem. It is wrong to be on a police car. As a joke it is fine.
If I saw it on the road though I would give a big

After using the link and checking out the story, I doubt that there are many involved with the "joke" who are still laughing.
Wrong to be on a police car? You bet it is. The article didn't report what kind of disciplinary action was taken, if any at all. It may have started out as an attempt at humor but it went way wrong.
At best, it was unprofessional. It showed poor judgement by all involved. Imagine that decal on a police car....in Cincinnati.  Yeah, there'd be lots of laughter heard around town. Unfortuately, not everyone would get the joke and that's just one small reason that something like this has absolutely no place on a police vehicle.
Awesome? Not even close. At least, I wasn't awed by it.
