I just learned that if you have too few calories for an extended period of time your body reacts by INCREASING your cholesterol to potentially dangerous (i.e. high) levels.


Also, people with kidney, liver, or thyroid problems are also prone to the same results.

It was just on WebMD as a secondary cause for high cholesterol.
