They made it to Halftime!

The HS football game didn't get called until halftime. At the end of the first quarter the score was Us Zero, Visitor 52. The other team only scored one touchdown in the second quarter!

This is the second year of 8-man football at this school. Last year, they only played 4 games because half the team was ineligible for play. The games they did play were all called at the end of the 1st quarter because there was no way they'd make up the points. LOL

THese poor boys. They're tall and slender and still learning the game. The QB was trying to find his guy to throw a pass and wasn't even looking around him for his opponent. The defense would come up on the side he wasn't looking on and give him a good shove and he'd be down. Not even a full tackle. Lots of fumbles and no attempt to recover.

The other team had twice as many members, 7 coaches and a full set of cheerleaders. Our team has 3 coaches and no cheerleaders. The cheerleaders are all on the volleyball team and they don't want them to get hurt cheerleading. teehee

My daughter and her new best friend lead the stands in a school cheer, and they were are now dubbed the new cheerleaders!

I was very amused by this whole thing. I can't wait until the next game. I"m going to bring my video camera. It's too good not too.
