Sheldon, be safe. They started evacuating parts of West Palm last night, didn't they? At least that's what I saw on the news.


The coast has a mandatory evac by 2 pm today. I only live 5 miles from the coast. I really am worried about this one......

Sad that's what I thought. It could still veer though....remember that Charley was headed straight for the Keys and ended up turning to the west coast at the last minute. The night before we left for Kristin's wedding when he was around Cuba, there was a dead straight line for the Keys, and all they got was a lot of wind and rain. Hopefully that will happen for you guys too.

When's it supposed to hit, tomorrow night still?

They just announced the HURICANE WARNING.
Huricane strength winds can be expected within 24 hours..... All measure to protect life and property should be rushed to completion. And I'm working.

...Dangerous Hurricane Frances heading for Florida...hurricane
warnings issued...

at 11 am AST...1500z...a Hurricane Warning has been issued for
the East Coast of Florida from Florida City northward to Flagler
Beach...including Lake Okeechobee.

At 11 am AST...1500z...a Tropical Storm Warning and a Hurricane
Watch are in effect for the middle and upper Florida Keys from
south of Florida City to the Seven Mile Bridge including Florida
Bay.


That's the latest. I am working too. I hate this.
