When you're frezzing to death inside and sweating the minute you walk outside. All these up and downs can't be healthy.

ooooh....you're definitely in the penalty box now...everyone down here has to crank their AC, including my darlinf faincee. I wake up freezing in the middle of the night, only to go outside in the morning and melt. If it was just kept moderately cool inside, it wouldn't be such a shock!

The AC in my car blew a contact lens right out of my eye while I was driving yesterday.

I personally hate it when people insist on having the AC kicking... having the temperature below 70. These are the same people that get cold in the winter and have to turn the heater up to 75. I'm all about feeling the seasons.... air conditioning and heat is just to make a milder environment.

The AC is prolly the best invention of the 20th century, after duct tape.
Count me as an AC lover

I hate it too, and don't use it unless I have to. One nice thing about John being gone is that my house isn't 65 degrees anymore (our last electric bill was almost $200!!!) I keep it at a balmy 77. I like my ceiling fans much better than air.
Now, when it broke though, and got up to what, 87? Oh, I loved the air then, when it came back on. Being too hot sucks as much as being too cold.

My AC has been on for a grand total of 2 days this summer. I open the windows and turn a fan on low speed to circulate some air.

I know I'd just die in the desert here for sure if we had not A/C. We actually have two units. You wouldn't even want to know how many months a year they run.

Hummm... It's freezing at work all the time, winter, spring, summer, fall. We keep an extra sweater in our desks for just that reason. I actually like the AC just in moderation (not that cold).
We live in an upstairs apartment. Since heat rises, we have to use ours a lot more than the downstairs neighbors. But we keep it about 75 degrees year round. One of the cats enjoys the heat, the other cold and the new dog likes it cool too. We leave the AC off in the bedroom, so the one cat usually sleeps in there during the day. Our other cat sleeps right under the breeze of the AC, loves the cold!
