I finally got to sleep in my own bed last night!
Most (all?) of you know that my wife had surgery on Thursday morning. The surgery went OK, but she had a bad reaction to the first pain killer they gave her and she wanted me to stay at the hospital with her the ENTIRE TIME. (The 2nd pain killer they gave her was no cake walk either, but it wasn't as bad.)
I've spent 3 nights sleeping in the world's most uncomfortable recliner. My back and shoulders are sore. One of the nurses called the recliner the "Paralyzing Chair" and I think she was right.
It's so nice to get some real rest!

My daughters are keeping an eye on her today. She's still not well enough IMHO to be left alone for too long just yet.

I'm a firm believer that sometimes you have to sleep in uncomfortable places to fully appreciate your own bed.
