All the new SUV's are starting to look like a Van/SUV mix, or a toaster on wheels.
Focus Group?? No way they were country folk We like stuff that looks like a 1965 Ford 4WD Pickup, dents and all
An H2 would be nice if it was a tad less expensive....like about $30,000.00 less expensive
My dream truck? A WWII M3 Scout Car with a modern engine upgrade...but then I am wired a little different than most people

I thought the same thing about being ugly. They are actually very popular around here especially with the VW Jetta type crowd for some reason.
Now the Honda Pilot, that is one nice machine.

It may be ugly but I have seen a lot of them on the road lately. I think they are maketing it to the "I just want to be different" crowd...
Ps. I am painting the passenger side air bag covers for that thing.

What's happened is the auto manufacturers are at a complete loss on what to market to Generation Y. They make things like this Element or Pontiac with it's Aztec or other weirdo looking trucks in hope of striking a cord. It's just goofy. Then old boomers trying to be hip, buy up the Elements and Aztecs. Gen Ys want nothing to do with a car that old farts drive. So in the end Gen Y is buying Civics, Galants, and Camrys.
Yeah, I find the auto industry is fun to watch

A woman who works here bought one... in ORANGE. As if that wasn't bad enough... the side panels are gray plastic.
