It feels like spring! And smells like it in our yard. Once you drive on the highway you get the seaweed, however.
But, it' about 77F, breezy, sunny, and just gorgeous! And we actually have a yard free of debris (except for the wooly mammoth sized pile on the curb). I am so proud of Larry. Six months ago he could not walk without crutches. This week, in one day, he cut down the remainder of the big gumbo limbo that splintered into three parts and killed the Fiat two hurricanes ago, as well as the other gumbo limbo that fell and broke, and the Florida Holly that also was destroyed, and chainsawed them into separate piles of debris and firewood for our outdoor fire pit. (we're talking big two story if not more sized thick trees). We have light in our yard again!!!
I'm sure it's not fun work, but I know that he feels better knowing that he can do yardwork again, because he told me how happy he was that he didn't have to hire people and watch/listen to them work while he laid in bed.
It's a gorgeous day.

Very pretty here too, in the 70s and sunny with the fall leaves changing.
Beautiful time of year to be in Cincy.

It's never November here, except for a few days in January, February, and March. However, it seems like it is ALWAYS hurricane season.

I don't know how you do it Kristin honestly. I love the heat and would love to live someplace tropical like that but I'm having second thoughts.

It hit 70 today. My 0800 run was in 56 degree temps.
I know this does not sounds too strange to some of you but you need to consider a normal low for our area this time of the year is about 32 and a normal high is 50ish. So Bring it on !!!

DON'T MOVE HERE! It is the WORST decision we ever made. Between the hurricanes, housing prices, sh$t salaries, lack of jobs for anyone NOT in the hospitality business, this place is the most awful situation I have lived in since a crap college apartment. No joke. I don't even have an FG'ing dishwasher.
Our home in Columbus had three bedrooms, two baths, HUGE kitchen with door out to back and an island for guests to sit around on Sundays while they watched us cook and entertain. A big fenced in yard for my dog, and and a fireplace and full basement. Now we are paying what we paid for that plus a third with a kitchen the size of a shoebox, one dinky-ass bathroom with only a shower (no tub) one bedroom a living room and a tiny office for me. An people wonder why I don't want any damned houseguests? The woman who owns it wants $379,000 for this hole, and everything else comparable is selling for the same, so she will get it.
We can't even afford a trailer here. This is so stupid. Plus everyone is just really full of themselves, although god knows why, because they are living off of the money their parents or grandparents made smuggling rum and finding bales of drugs. They are all very pleased with themselves because that's all they have. . they are a bunch of uneducatd self-important asshats on power trips. We're getting out as soon as we can. This place is ASS. Save your money and don't make the mistake that we did.
No one appreciates your education or job experience, and trust me, no one works out down here or has any inclination to so you'd be screwed too. As for me, these idiots don''t even know what a financial systems analyst is, much less need one.
DON'T MOVE HERE. If you inherit money, buy a home and live here in the winter or something. This place is ASS! Please trust me on this.

I feel for you. I really do. After spending one week in Jamaica I realized that to me it wasn't exactly "paradise". I couldn't live there or anywhere like it. No F'ing way. If I ever hit the lotto, I'll still live right here in Misery. I'm boring, and I like it that way.
