the gall bladder is coming out tomorrow. sorry its not that kind of announcement...

Just had my pre admission testing and inprocessing. I report to the Hospital tomorrow AM. Laproscopic (sp?) Surgery to remove the gall bladder. 1.5 hours later its up and running in the recovery room.

If things go right I'll be home maybe that evening or at the least Saturday AM.

See you guys later on. I'll post the operating time when I get it about 1600 EDT.

Andy

PS Some good Karma, MoJo or whatever would be appreciated...

LC had that done a year or so ago, and also with laproscopy. The good thing with that is the procedure's quicker. The bad news is you don't have the scars to show off.

Best wishes to you - all will go well.

thumbs up

Andy, that's great that they found the cause and it's a simple answer! I've had laporo surgery for other things and it really is no big deal. Good karma being sent your way anyhow though!!! Make sure to keep us posted.

I've had mine out, ala laparoscopy, and it's really not that bad. You will have a few tiny scars to show off. One about 5 inches above the belly button, then go diagonally another few inches from there, then the third is on/in your belly button. Just take it easy the first couple days, you'll be a-ok.

Will keep you in my thoughts!

You will be so glad you had this done. I endured the pain of two really bad attacks before having the surgery - the surgery was nothing compared to the pain I'd had before! Good Luck - I'll be thinking of you.
