...most runners are proud and stubborn and that's why we try to run through pain resulting in injuries. No matter how many times fellow runners and books tell you to rest, you don't.
It's pointless. I'm not hurt. Just a thought.

Guess what!? My knee hurts. Guess what else?! I'm trying to 'run through' this injury because it doesn't get worse every day. Some days it feels better than others.

On the other hand, there is a certain point where your body will not tolerate it anymore. I was stubborn for a long time, tried to be tough about it. Sometimes the body just needs to take a break.

JK of course, I live in a beautiful state. There isn't a lot of people here, but that is probably one of the things that makes it so beautiful.
