in full force. Gym was crowded today. Several new faces, lotsa of somewhat familiar faces that have been there off and on in past year. It'll be a zoo for next month and a half which is about how long it takes their their resolutions to get fit fade away.

Yeah. The same folks that used to look at me like I'm nuts are now out there walking and running. I can't help think the same thing. Pretty soon, I'll be out there by myself again.

I stopped going to the gym. Had a bunch of real jerks that would constantly hound you...

"Hound", like bark at you, and pee on your leg?

This is precisely why I have been running outside for the past 5 weeks. First it was those who were trying to work off all that turkey and stuffing, then it was those trying to lose a few before all that plum pudding, and now its like you said, people who are vowing not to have to do all that for next year!

The inside track hasn't been too bad as far as runners. Lots of people walking but they seem to be minding their manners and leaving the outside lane open. The treadmills have been packed which is fine, I rarely use them. I'm going to start doing at least my weekend runs outside again, weather permitting.

I have some respect for the resolutioners, at least they're making an effort to improve themselves. Not sure what percentage of them will make it a full year but I'm guessing it's under 5%.
