is it the redsox or the whitesox, where a long time ago some guy tried to get into a game with his donkey or something, but they wouldn't let him in, and then he cursed them and said "you're not going to win the pennent til the year 2000"?
...i just remember my buddy saying that the curse was going to be up soon and that he was going to try to get into the ballpark with a donkey and see if they were willing to take that risk again. figured he'd end up on sportscenter.

Never heard that one. The Red Sox have been cursed since they sold Babe Ruth to the Yankees so the owner of the BoSox could pay off his theater debts.
Yeah, sell one of the league's best pitchers who turned out to be one of the best hitters of all time. Nice job, swifty.
