I/We just hit 700 profiles on the profile site. Since listing 700 members takes a little time, I need to come up with a better way for people to view the profiles.

What other changes would you like to see on the profile site?

First thought is you could have a page of letters to drill into, so if you're looking for someone starting with a C, you'd click on the A-D option. I also still think a "next profile" & "previous profile" link on the bottom would be cool for surfing through.

Maybe a favorites place? Where you can put the profiles of the people you associate with?

Like a publically viewable list of people that you like/associate with?

I was thinking more a private list, for our own viweing - like a bookmark. Public could get, well, Clubhouse-y...?

Hmmm, what if nobody wants to associate with me??

Kind of makes it a little snobbish, no? New members would be at a disadvantage?

I dunno, maybe I'm just paranoid, but, I've heard that it's not paranoia if they really are out to get you!

Yeah, I think I would be paranoid if I left someone off of my list that they may be paranoid about me leaving them off of my list if everyone could view it and see that they weren't there.

Couldn't you just use the bookmark feature on your web browser then?

Another thought too is if the size is getting too much, hows about a good cleaning? Definitely some profiles are fiction, some are blank, and some need a good dusting. 700 is impressive, but if 100 could go, you'd get some server space back, no?

Sure. You could get rid of Mikey's (mp3). He won't be using it for several years. I know some people put their dogs on there! At least I added a human!

Get rid of some of those ID's that are aliases for others. I like jrjo's idea though to pull up by letter.
