During church this morning, they announced that they needed a temporary part-time person to work a couple of days a week in the church office answering phones.

I mentioned to my wife that I really had my eye on some new bike gear and that she should put her name in as a candidate.

She wrote down her name and cell number and handed it to the pastor and told him that she was interested.

He told her he'd turn the information over to the "personality committee". Confused

It might have been, but that isn't nearly as exciting.

You attend the Our Chairman's Democratic Church of Perpetual Motion or something? Personality Committee?

Isn't it Scientology that administers personality tests that then determine whether you are depressed and/or in need of their services*? PH? YOu and Tom Cruise hanging out?

I think you're right. If you have a pesonality, you fail their test.
