I don't remember the last time they changed it.
But I know the reason it jumped so much. And it's that damned AC. I shut it off. It's still nice and comfortable in here. It didn't need to be on nearly 24 hours a day.

Our power company does an even pay system...if you want. I pay 85.00 a month every month for my elec.
You should contact your power company and see if they have a plan.
Waiting until it's sweltering and then turning on the A/C is like throwing money on a fire.

Even pay = wasting money. They average your bills to come up with what you should pay then add a finance charge to it. If you use more, they adjust it for the next cycle.

No finance charge...
Hydroelectric...cheapest in the country.
PUD customers, thanks to our regional abundance of hydroelectric power, pay only about 3 cents per kilowatt hour.

You have a very customer friendly utility company. Ours adds cost to the flat rate. We also have very expensive electricity, around 10 cents a kw*hr.
