My hunting season has been going since Oct 18th (upland birds), I just haven't had any sucess or much time this year. Sad Unfortunately gun deer season interfers with my hunting. Too many morons out there that would think my Springer spaniel looks like a deer. Evil or Very Mad

I hope this deer season is more sucessful than last year. With all the CWD issues you have people were scared away last year. Our herd needs thining and our northern economies need the money.

How many deer can you take in OH this year?

Make the roadways safe again Rob! Pleeeze! My poor car has smacked two deer in a week's time and doing four-wheel drifts with locked brakes is nearly a daily occurance. They're like rabbits I tell ya, rabbits with racks.

I came damn close to having an intimate encounter with a doe last night. that deer cleared the front end of my truck by just a couple of feet. Scared the daylights out of me.

I haven't bow hunted in years(for deer). I use a shotgun for the birds.

Up to five I believe if you hunt in the designated "urban" zones. Urban zones being areas near larger cities that have a boatload of deer in them with little hunting access.

I do usually although my total kill for bow season adds up to one fox squirrel. My bowhunting endeavors are usually just time spent in the woods enjoying mother nature. I've had a few opportunities to take nice deer during bow season and hosed them up. Learning to take a deer with a compound or long bow will humble a person. You don't get a real feel for the incredible accuracy of a deer's hearing and especially their sense of smell until you've been foiled a few times.
