Which figures. I've got one cracked and several bruised ribs, and and a severe upper respiratory infection as a result, and since this guy is not around, my insurance will have to pick up the pieces. I wonder if it's best to just run my medical bills through my health insurance (since we just moved, we just got a new GP who is now on vacation, so I had to go the the ER to get treatment) or through the auto insurance medical side.
Anyone have any ideas which is better?
Yes, I worked for an insurance company for a long time, but I was on the accounting/managerial/financial systems side of things, not the insurance claims side. I know that no matter what I do, I'm screwed.

If you're volunteering, I'll sign you up.
(We actually have a friend who was a former WVA police/highway patrolman who may look into this for me. BUt he lives in Ohio, not Florida!)

I am guessing it is best to get the treatment and then work it back through either your car insurance or a lawyer and see about making the other guys insurance pays it back.
