Agreed. It seems like a lot of people are already putting a ton of weight on his shoulders for one single speech he gave at the DNC in Boston. He needs to walk before he can run.

Obama Barrack maybe, depending on what he does with his next 6 years in the Senate. What say ye? |
Don't know a whole lot about him. I know he gave a good speech at the DNC.
His lack of political experience may relegate him to a VP nomination, to balance out a ticket

Even before the speech he was being touted as the next big thing (to borrow Brock Lesnar's nickname), or, he was leading into the convention.

I agree 100% with MW.

Absolutely, Sonny. High, high expectations at the starting gate--and as any Philly sports fan can tell you, that doesn't always go so well
That's why his Senate career will be so important.

Well, I heard some interesting discussion when I was home ill yesterday. The pundits were already saying Hillary will run, and she could possibly face Rudy Gulliani or John McCain.
Just what I heard from the pundits.
As far as a woman or a minority...it could happed, but I also agree that person would probably have to be conservative.

I could see Hillary/Guiliani. That would be a fascinating race. I think McCain is done, though.

I have been wondering, if he would run in '08.

Doubt it. His campaign would be too heavily based on only a few issues.

Not to get off topic, but we've seen that this year. It isn't necessarily a flaw.
