And I have another tomorrow evening with some others in the acccounting/finance department. The owner is much more of a big picture type person, so I'll know more of the details tomorrow, but he seemed very positive and excited about hiring me. He's probably the first employer down here who has actually taken the time to read and compliment me on my resume, as well as have someone call references.
The funniest part of it? He assured me that none of the money coming into his businesses is from drug-runners, and offered me the chance to look at all of the books first. Naive me, I had not expected that a legitimate business would. Apparently, a lot of businesses here are big into money-laundering.

but if nothing is coming from drug smuggling how are you supposd to use ALL your accounting tricks?
