I'm glad it's over because I won't have any phone messages every evening when I get home telling me why I should vote this way or that. I got a call shortly after 7 pm last night from a Kerry/Edwards campaigner... I kindly told him I had voted for W and hung up.

I turned off my home answering machine last week because I was getting like 3 VoiceMails per day encouraging me to vote for X Candidate. Thanks for reminding me that I need to reset it again tonight.

P.S. Wasn't the poll closed after 7pm last night? Maybe they wanted you to vote again on a famous Ohio provisional ballot? More voter fraud from Kerry's campaign? Wink

It's refreshing to see that people care about this country and the directions it takes. I'm appalled and saddened how some people just don't give a crap and refuse to see how much of their worlds they view so myopically are affected, strongly and definitively, from external sources. Interestingly enough, these are often the same people who are among the first to complain when taxes are raised, resources cut, and education goes to hell. Confused

do you realize how condescending you come across?

First the Cubs screw up, now the Democrats lose (at least the Presidential election). It's fun to be in Chicago this past month.
