Actually, the town of Beloit used to have a bar called Dangerous Dave's. They had two for one specials on these big house drinks every Wednesday. My old college BF, bless his departed soul, carried me out of there one Wednesday, literally.

a long time ago HoJos was a restaurant chain only, mostly on turnpikes, and yes they served ice cream. i think it was one of their claims to fame, the fact that they had so many flavors.
