The only REAL trail race in New York City!
Tough course, lots of up hills (and not enough down hills ) Some mud, muck and water to run through. I had a fantastic time! 6.3 miles in 43:13, a 6:52 pace. I took 15th place overall of around 200 runners. I came in about 1:30 before the womens winner.
It turned out to be among the most expensive races ever as well. I got a $110 parking ticket (freakin' Bloomberg raised them!) in a very poorly marked bus stop (me and 5 other cars received one, it was almost impossible to tell it was a bus stop!)and a $55 for expired inspection (my fault, I had forgotten).
Other than that, it was a nice race. Maybe next year some of the posse can come out. It is about 1.5 miles from my house.

That's a great finish time for the course. Too bad about the tickets though.
