It was cold tonight at the track: 28 degrees.
7:23. The last quarter I lost my concentration because my throat started to feel raw - I think I tasted blood .
This challenge is a great idea! Maybe we could do this for all the short distances (400, 800, and 1200).
Everyone has done a nice job. I'm curious to see what happens in a month when there's better weather and after more intense training.

I'd like to do this in August or so when I'm done training for the marathon and stuff, because I think it would be fun to see how things are going. But, until then, no time trials for me.

BUMP!
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. You've got a little over a week to submit your second mile time. I recommend running one this weekend as practice before you run your final time next weekend. If you have difficulty with pace (and almost all of us do), this will help you get a feel for your goal time.
Good luck!
